Since 1999, the Galerie Alexandre Guillemain is specialized in midcentury design and decorative arts. It proposes a rigorous and cutting-edge selection of furniture and objects. The Galerie Alexandre Guillemain showcases world famous designers and artists such as Charlotte Perriand, Gio Ponti, Jean Prouvé, Jean Royère, Oscar Niemeyer, etc. Faithful to its eclecticism since its creation, the gallery focuses on three departments:

- Midcentury Modern American furniture : Frank Lloyd Wright,, George Nakashima, Harry Bertoia, Paul Evans, T.H Robsjohn-Gibbings, Paul McCobb, Edward Wormley, Vladimir Kagan, Paul Frankl, etc.

- French and Italian lighting from 1950 to 1970: Max Ingrand, Gino Sarfatti, Pierre Guariche, Gio Ponti, Robert Mathieu, Jean-Boris Lacroix, Oscar Torlasco, Stilnovo, etc.

- French ceramics from 1950 to 1960: Georges Jouve, Jacques et Dani Ruelland, Les 2 Potiers, Denyse Gatard, Roger Capron, Jean Derval, Jacques Pouchain,Elisabeth Joulia, Robert Deblander, Gustave Tiffoche

The Galerie Alexandre Guillemain is the author of several monographic exhibitions like "Bernard-Albin Gras", "Pierre PAULIN : 1954/1962", "Osvaldo BORSANI & Tecno", "Pierre GUARICHE", "George NAKASHIMA, 50 years of creation", "Frank Lloyd Wright" , amongst others and thematic exhibitions such as "Please, sit down! Seating from 1950 to 1980" or "American Masters".

The Galerie Alexandre Guillemain participates each year to the PAD Paris and PAD London fairs.
