In 1950, self-taught Charles Ramos created his first agency in association with M. Castellanetta, his first and almost only editor. In 1952, he exhibited his work for the first time at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs. At the same time, as an interior architect, he develops a fruitful relationship with Louis Baillon. He develops full furnishing programs, notably regarding the reconstruction of the Normandy region.
